Hello there friends!
It´s with pleasure that I share my post today since I´m a guest designer for the current challenge "Staying in the Background" on The Funkie Junkie Botique Blog. Cec is the hostress and this is what she says:
My challenge to you is to create your own background and use it in a shabby chic or vintage project - no pre-printed patterned paper this time. You can create the background in any number of ways and it can be simple or intricate. Using embossing folders. stencils, dies, stamps, washi tape, paints, inks or a gel press are just a few ideas. Make sure you give a brief description of how you created your background in your post.
As I said, this is a simple technique that always gives good results and should not be forgotten when so many new products are launched, I think.
Hello and Happy Monday everyone!
For todays card I had the sketch challenge over at CAS(E) this Sketch in mind to get some inspiration, here is my take...
Hello there crafters!
Today I have a card inspired by the Favourite Stencil challenge over at As You Like It, with this stencil it becomes an image directly and always so nice, it´s also perfect for backgrounds. I also added some Distress Glaze to the berries for some extra shine.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs, Birgit

Happy Saturday Everyone!
I´m sharing a card today inspired by the Birthday Photo challenge over at Inkspirational, here is my take...
Hello there friends!
Today I have a masculine card to show you using some old stamps from my stash. I used the resist technique to create the background together with Vintage Photo embossing glaze.
Hello and Happy Friday everyone!
Today I have a card in a bit different size to show you...it´s very tall. I saw a sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches that got me started, and I have tried to combine it with the colors over at CAS Colours & Sketches. Maybe you can say that it's a Christmas card for a man?
